First of all, I stink at making meatloaf. I’m one of few women in America missing that critical gene required to bake the perfect meatloaf.  But tonight, I ended my seven year boycott of the meatloaf and tried again.  One of the things I hate about making meatloaf is the oogy feeling of mixing the meat, egg and other stuff with my hands.

Try putting a little bit of cooking oil on your hands before you plunge into the bowl of ingredients. You’ll find that the meat doesn’t stick as much and, when you wash up with soapy water, the goo will wash off a bit easier.
